Let me start by saying thanks to Doro...

Thank you , Bro...

Next ...I`d like to give my Thanks and Respects to all the Polkheads that have helped, and enlighted me since I have become an active member of this Forum.

That being said...

My day started (Monday) at 3 am ...Like it has since the 4th of Jan.
Get home around 9:30 pm.(30-40 min commute)
My boss quit on the 4th (1st day back) and I am up to my eyeballs in stress....I`m doing 4 peoples job now.

long story short...got an e-mail from the president of the Co.
saying I get another %5 bonus plus another 4k a year..!!

WOOOHOOO more Gear..!!

I left work early today because I had to be home when my new tube pre amp arrived...(Thanks Doro)
It arrived very well packed and in excellent condition.

I couldn`t wait to hook it up ...
I know you should let tubes warm up, but 15 min was all I could wait !

My Daughters (19 & 21) were there with their freinds and boyfriend (2 of them electricians who I now have putting in a dedicated circuit for my gear !).

I hooked it up to my RT2000i`s and my Rotel 980 (thanks Early),
And rolled in on slowly playing Stevie Ray & B.B.King Live..

First thing out of someones mouth was.."sounds like I`m standing in a bar"!!

It sounded like it really was live !

I now see (hear) the light!
Tubes man, tubes...!!

Gotta love it....

And man...I do !!

    Welcome to the real world.

    That's a stellar piece of gear, it pained me to let it go.....but you gotta move gear to get gear sometimes.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
