How do I hook up my amp to my KDLX111? I have the wiring harness and the amp kit, but the kit says that I need to hook up to a 'remote wire'. But I can't find it? The owner's manual for the KDLX says that the model 333 has sub-woofer output but the 111 does not. Please help!! I must listen to my Stuart Whitman CD's!!!

The remote wire is usually a blue wire with a white stripe.

Youve only got so many wires and theyre usually the same color.

    12 volt constant - yellow
    Power from ignition - red
    Ground - black
    Remote turn on - blue/white

Then youll have your speaker wires. These will be easy to find as they will be in pairs. For instance, orange and an orange with white stripe. The one with the stripe is the negative.

You may also have a dimmer wire which hooks into the dimmer circuit so when the headlights are on the display dims slightly.
