    have them in my jeep love them went from the boston pro 6.5's to the z6 wow what a difference mor detailed imaging and mid bass with out drowning the vocal out and the highs i get chills from my tweeters:D

    My own humble opinion, I like the Boston Pro series better than the Z. The Z was a little too bright for my taste but then I was listening to both of them on a soundboard which isnt a fair comparison.

    In that price range though, my all time favorite speaker if money wasnt a concern is the MB Quart Q. I love the way they sound. Super detailed and very natural sounding.

    that is one thing about the bostons, you have too like the highs...
    interesting that you say you did not like the z series over the pro's on the sound board Macleod, that is exactly how i felt when i first listened to them on the board and after talking with a few people i decided to give the z's a try in my jeep, they sound completly different in a car
