Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

    Looks great.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    What program did you use?

I do some flyer and print-ad work for the club I DJ in. I'm using Photoshop CS along with the Nikon Capture software for the photos taken with my Nikon D70.

We have a small studio setup in a room in the club. I'm using 4 softbox lights with a Chromakey Green Screen backdrop. I drop the RAW pic into Photoshop and instantly delete out the background, then run it through Nikon Capture and off to Photoshop again for final touchups.

Great job though. Love the first Arcade Fire! The coloring of the clouds gives a much more brilliant appearance then the second one.

Since my computer crapped out on a few months back I lost my Photoshop CS software.

For these I just used Photoshop Elements 2.0

I am also very impressed with how the Arcade Fire ones turned out. Their latest album is titled 'Funeral' so I found a misc. death certificate, some pics of clouds I took, a fire that I took, as well as a copy of their album cover. Did some custom fonts and did some enhancements to all the photos and did some photo merging.

It's an awesome album and I'd encourage anyone to check them out if they get the chance. They're a very hot underground band and their live sound is just unbelievable.

The My Morning Jacket pics are also personal favorites. I did some custom font work with those and took some of Jim James' lyircs from 'Golden' and added it into it. Got a map of Kentucky (their hometown), a picture of a Grizzly Bear ala their last album 'It Still Moves' and a B&W pic of Jim James on guitar. Used a lot of the same tactics as I did with the Arcade Fire ones.

Sent these to Jim and he loved them.

If anyone is interesting in hearing any of these bands send me an e-mail and I'll burn some copies and send them out to you guys when I get some time.

I've got some more I'm doing for Wilco, M. Ward, Elliot Smith, Iron & Wine, and The Walkmen.

Here is something I did up yesterday. The bulk of my time was spent shooting the photos of her then editing it. The rest of the layout was easy. Add the club's logo, add the gradient background on the lower half, put in some text and finally a border. Nothing too complicated. I like to keep it fairly simple for the most part unless we need something really fancy.

Gotta love the stripper clothes though. More women should wear that stuff! :D
