iam trying to fabricate a box/center counsil
i only have 9 inches from seat to seat and want to mount my 8" momo subs on the bottom its in a 1993 dodge dakota i know the dimetions i have to work with but its not working cause the center i come up with is 7.5 and the sub is 8 plz help if u can

my guess is that you're getting 7.5 because you're using wood for the console... if you use fiberglass you should be able to get within the limits...MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.

Isn't 7.5 enough? An 8" woofer would only need 7.25" of a cut-out diameter. Does that address the problem your talking about?
