Other Audio/Video forums

So what other forums do you guys visit for AV stuff? Which ones are good and which ones are not so good?

I've heard that AVS isn't the greatest...

I thought about joining another forum, but don't want to waste my time. If you have to choose one other forum besides Polk, which would it be?

...hoping some of the tenured guys around here like Mark, jessie, Sean, Russ, etc will chime in...

    I've been over at the Home Theater Spot for about three years; great site in my opinion. Don't care too much for AVS either.

    I spend a bit of time at the Home Theatre Forum. It's a pretty good one, especially if you're looking for used gear or movies.

    HT Spot scares me, I will never venture there again after knowing how that place is run....

    S&V is pretty cool...

    And I am an Admin/Moderator of a recently launched Def Tech forum...

    I prowl alot of forums, HTF...AVS...AA...AK...Agoraquest, but only post in a couple.

    I don't care enough to be posting all over the place and tracking all the threads...too time consuming.

    I figure I can offend enough people here to satisfy my hunger....and just secretly mock the members of the other hangouts.

    Thanks Sid for giving me a reason to never buy a DefTech speaker....ever.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I post on the Carsound.com forum from time to time. A lot of heavy weights and experts post there (i.e. magazine editors, competitors, sound off judges etc) so I hang out there mainly to learn rather than shoot my mouth off like I do here. :D
