HALO 2 is way too short!

I just finished HALO 2 in about half the time I expected to.

Its a cliffhanger too so we should be seeing HALO 3 in a few years.

Another ****, I played it on "normal" and it was ok but I like a challenge so I bumped it up to "heroic" and its ridiculous!

It takes 1000 hits to kill an enemy but it only takes about 2 from him to wipe out your shields and then 1 additional to kill you. So basically you run into bad guys, fire off a couple shots before he drills you a zillion times, then you go hide til your shields recharge then stick your head out and over and over. You spend most of the time hiding, waiting for the shields to recharge.

On a positive note, I love the soundtrack.

I know what you mean.I beat it on easy, normal and hard but legendary is insane, tried cooperative but as soon as one of you die you start at your last checkpoint and you don't respawn like in halo.as for the length of the game I would say its close to the first one.halo 3 probably won't be the last one.

Agreed, that is a lame aspect of fighting some of them.

I was pretty stoked to play a sweet level when I saw the last cut scene, what a disappointement. Has anyone heard if and when there could be a Halo 3?

    to short?

GOD - it has 15!!!!!!!!!!! LEVELS!!!!!!!!!!

What do you mean TO SHORT?

but...I really liked the game! And I doubt bungie would leave off their best game, and one of microsofts best games like that and NOT come out with a Halo 3 man...It will most definetely be out when XBox 2 comes out, and will be a package deal. You can bet your money on that one....

I've heard rumors that Xbox2 will have a bundled version with Halo2, but an upgraded graphics version (HD baby!). Haven't heard a peep about Halo3 coming out anytime soon.

No, XBox 2 will be bundled with Halo 2.5 (rumor has it) - it will start at the cliffhanger of Halo 2...

This would be Microsofts attempt to sell harddrives in the XBox 2, while the regular XBox 2 does NOT have a harddrive...

    Again, JUST a rumor...

Man you better believe Microsoft will save Halo 3 for XBox 2 if they make it. It will most definetely be the game sold with the XBox 2 to push sales off the charts...

Ok folks...heres the line up from a press announcement - lost link

    XBox NEXT - August 2005

    Shortly after XBox NEXT -

XBox NEXT HD - Includes Harddrive

    When the PS3 releases...

XBox NEXT PC - It will be a mini computer, offering a keyboard and mouse with internet connection offering web browsing, messengers, CD burning, playing XBox and PC games. Microsoft plans to completely spoil the launch of PS3.

Thats from what I read in the article... (cant find the link, but your welcome to search for it).

Sounds like a rumor to me about the release date... I've just heard it'll be out this year for the holiday season. I've also heard about the different versions. I'm just very unsure that it will come out as early as August.

Do a google for "xbox2 news" and you'll get a handful of pages dedicated to rumors and whatnot for the next xbox. A lot of the info is repeated on all of the websites. There's a video game convention coming up this year (april or may if my brain serves me correctly), and everyone is betting that's when all of the announcements will be made.

Anyway, count me in for one of these puppies!

Well I got bored and turned up the 'level' of difficulty on halo, and now that I am more fluent with dual guns...

I plan to go the entire time with dual weapons, until the flood comes, they die in one shot with the sword, kinda explode... but anyways...

Dual weapons roxors... so much fun... even makes using human weaponry fun... ha

I finally got around to finishing this and it seemed short. Plenty of chances to jump and move around from the paths in most levels. What were they thinking of when they cancelled the movie?

Isn't it a good feeling to finally finish a game, no matter how long you've had it. Makes the purchase all the more worthwhile IMO.

I never played Halo 2, but I can tell you Halo 3 isn't very long either. I believe I finished it in 3 or 4 nights.
