mini 2ch system for a semi mini room

here's my system as it stands now. Once we get the new house back, I'll have more room than before to let my Monitor 10s stretch their legs. For now, they're furniture in the living room upstairs, as I can't keep them hooked up because there's no room for the components. I wish I could convince my dad's wife that they would really sound better than the Wal-Mart boombox that is currently occupying a lot of prime realestate in the entertainment center. Plus they just look better than the white plastic behemoths that are perched on top of the ent. cntr. (It's one of those all-in-one systems with the gargantuan speakers that have 3 drivers and about 6 assorted gaping holes in the front.... you know the kind. She bought it because it had a turntable)

Perhaps someday soon...
