Well, another pay-check is here and one more component to go to complete my two week Polk buying spree.

Thinking of buying the CSi3 for the center channel to round out my system....is the CSi3 a good match ???

R30's for the mains
R15's for the surround
PSW303 for the SW
H/K Receiver

How well will the CSi3 work with this system? Compatability

Thanks!!!

I checked a few web-sites selling the CSi3 and here is what they claim..

    CSi3
"Timbre-matched to fit into any Polk Audio home theatre or multi-channel music system for a more realistic, more seamless surround sound environment."

    What is "timbre -matched" ?????

The only other option I have (buying in my area) is the CSi5 but it's way expensive here at $575 Canadian.

Dude at Polk reccomended the CS1 but again, I can't find it in this area.

What to do man? Is their really that much differance with the CSi3 matched up with R30 / R15??

Get the Csi3. Just invest in a good SPL meter and make sure your speakers are calibrated.

Many members on this forum, myself included, have fronts and center channels from different manufacturers, so don't become overly concerned about timbre matching.
