Crossover

I am thinking of buying the MMC525s where exactly do you put the crossover?

    Dont put them inside the doors tho. Water can seep in and screw em up.

    Other than that you can stick em where you like. I have mine under the rear seat with my amps. Some people put them on the kick panels. It really doesnt matter as long as theyre away from the elements, excess heat and power wires.

    Depends on the car. I've done x-overs in the doors of two cars and had no problems.

    Well to be honest, I had the x-overs to my MMC690's in my doors for over a year and never had any problems but I didnt want to chance it with my, much nicer, MM6 x-overs. I just like to give the proper advice and not the crap that I do cause Im too lazy to do it right! :p

    yup, and since i have 2x as many crossovers as they typical component system, and it sounds like a 6db increase to be twice as loud, i actually get a 9 db increase
