I have two Diamond audio cm3 12d4 subs and was wondering if a memphis mc1500d amp would be good for these subs, I would most likely want to hook them up in parallel, any suggestions would be appreciated especially in what way to hook them up and get the best out of the amp with these subs

Im not familiar with that amp as Im not much of a Memphis fan. However I am a big Diamond fan.

Dont hook those subs up in parallel unless your amp is 1 ohm stable. Most likely, that amp is only 2 ohm stable so in order to get a 2 ohm load out of 2 pair of 4 ohm voice coils you would have to wire them in series.

If I remember right, those subs are 500 watt subs so in order to get the most out of them the amp you use should be in the 450-500 watt range. Any less and you would be pushing the subs to their full potential. Any more and you risk overpowering the sub which is what kills them.
