Center channel speaker help
I need some tips on a center channel speaker to complete my first HT system. I have a Denon AVR-1905 on the way, so it's time to get the missing piece. I'm using R50s & R15s and a vintage Polk passive sub that I'll either drive with the Denon, or use a pre out and a Carver cube. I should say that my wife doesn't quite share my audio enthusiasm, so I can't spend a lot of money.
I've been looking on Ebay and it seems like a CSi30 would be a good fit, but the prices seem to be hovering around the $125 mark + shipping. Would I be better off just to buy a new CSi3 @ my local Fry's store for &199...or does someone have another option?
thanks.

Welcome to CP,
Well, it depends on how important Timber matching is to you, if it is go for it, but it seems that center for an older RTi series, so I would venture to say the difference would be minimal anyways. I would suggest the CSi30 because Polk suggest it though. -
Another R50, unscrew the base, lay it on it's side, and heave that puppy up on to a shelf. Looks like heck, but is a good sonic match.Win7 Media Center -> Onkyo TXSR702 -> Polk Rti70

I went through the same thing as you. I ended up going with the CSi3 and have no complaints at all. Since you can pick it up locally, give it a try. Worse case, you could always return it and then go the eBay route, or as Reaper mentioned you could try the extra R50.
