Yet another sub setup question

My Harman/Kardon AVR130 receiver has a single "PRE-OUT SUBWOOFER" output.
Using a Polk PSW303 Subwoofer, should I connect the sub using one RCA cable to the "LFE" input?
OR
Should I use an RCA cable with a "Y" plug connected to the "LINE IN" left and right inputs on the sub?
Sorry, the manuals for both my sub and receiver are not clear on this.

use the one plug for lfe

Go from subout of the HK to the LFE input on the sub.
