Anyone using Monster Cable QUICK LOCK banana plugs?
Will they work with 16 gage wire?
I read somewhere that they will only work with 12 gage but I find that hard to believe.

Yes. You may need to strip about 3/4 inch of shielding off, then fold the wire (making it twice as thick).
You can also look for alternatives at www.partsexpress.com.

yeah, it works, I have 16 gauge.

As it seems MC has a strong hold monopoly up here in Canada, alternatives for cables/connectors will be a little more difficult to source but I understand the situation.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
Any fellow Canadians have good sources for audio accessories? -
go to future shop and buy recoton compression type nanerplugs...10$ for 2.....I use them all around.....or get AR or rathsack nannerplugs
