Surround Speaker
Hello everyone! I am a new Polkie and I am building a new home theater system! All new components. I need help picking a surround speaker. I'm leaning towards the Monitor 40 suggested by the system builder. Placement is my concern with these speakers - wall, shelf or stand? Or, can I/should I mix and match? The dipole/bipole surrounds -FXi's or LSi's - with my Monitor setup? I know it all depends on my ears, that's why I went with the Monitor 70's over the JBL's and RTi's - I like the sound - these Polks are Great!. Any suggestions will be appreciated!! Thanks!!!

The LSi bipole/dipole surrounds will be way overkill for a set of monitor mains.

Welcome to CP!
As your setup indicate, I would go with the Monitor 40s, you've already timber matched this far, might as well finish the job. If you can wall mounting 3 ft would be ideal (Unless you find some madly tall stands.)
