Okay, here is my question. Is this going to send an HD signal only, or will the movie truly be presented in a high definition resolution? or is it going to be just the signal and when you get down to it, no better picture quality.
Looks like I will be rebuying a few DVDs. -

So since HD DVD players aren't out yet, how would you play one of these in HD?

The third release of T2 is also in HD. I believe it was the first one released in HD. I seem to remember a ton of complaints about T2 never getting along well with Windows Media Player. Maybe those problems have been fixed in the past 2 years.Brian Knauss

My guess is that those people's computers weren't fast enough to play the HD. It takes roughly 3.0GHz from what I have read.

Will the older movies not originally shot with an hd camera just be upconverted?
Will it be similiar to watching older movies on hbohd and tnthd?
I would love to see new hd movies but can't imagine spending a bunch of money on tnthd quality re-releases.
