US Acoustics or Soundstream amp?

Which would be the better amp? The soundstream van gogh 600.2 or the US Acoustics 2200.. The soundstream seems a little better on paper having a higher S/N ratio 115 VS 105 for the US acoustic. And the soundstream has a higher dampining factor. Has anyone used products from either manufacturer? What was your experience? Thanks

Agreed.
US Accoustik is a Wal-Mart brand and even tho Soundstream is going downhill fast theyre still pretty solid amps. Way better than US.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

just don't confuse US Acoustics with US Amps.. US Amps kicks ****... I had one guy call my US Amps TU-600 (150x2 tube amp) a 'wallmart amp' so i went off on him and SERIOUSLY schooled him on car audio... poor salesguy didn't even know what dampening factor was...MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.

Hey Joel,
Don't you mean damping factor?
Dampening was probably the reaction in his shorts to your "schooling".:DHT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Soundstream going downhill?
That already happened. All I have seen from them in the past 2 years is a steady upwards climb. Production is back up, quality issues seems to have been resolved and they are making attractive amps again.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I still like my Rubicon 555 for solid multichannel use. It hard to find a more solid setup for an all-in-one amp.
