I know it's a shot in the dark, maybe someone can help. I bought a Nokia 6200 off Ebay for the wife...we use Cingular service. So I took the sim card out of her old phone and put it in this one, and it says phone restricted when I power it on, there's an option for unlock, but I guess you have to have some type of code to unlock it...

I noticed that the phone says ATT Wireless on the front, but that shouldn't matter right since they're the same now?

Can anyone help?

    It's been a while since I've owned a Nokia, but it's either 0000 (or 5 of them), 1234, or 1111.

A call to Nokia CS would get you the unlock code that you need........or just a call into the local Cingular service center would work.

Verizon uses the last 4 of my phone number, but our phones don't use SIM cards, so the numbers aren't moveable.
