LSi25's

I own a pair of LSi25's and I absolutely love them. It seems, however, that most people own the 15's or the 9's. Does anyone know if Polk sells more of the 15's than the 25's and if so, why? I heard a pair of 15's and a pair of 25's next to one another and the 25's really seemed superior to me. Just wondering why more folks on here don't own the 25's............

Of all reasons, I'd guess the $$ difference. The 25's are $800 more......but since I don't own any of the LSi line (wish I DID!) I'll let those who own, pick the bone.... :cool:HT & Music System:

Compare that to getting LSi9's (or 15's) and what kind of SVS sub you could get for the money.
I had the 25's and found the bass very hard to dial in and seem correct for music and movies. I ended up returning it. I would think a set of LSi9's and a PC Ultra would blow away a set of 25's for both music and movies (and be easier to set up and cheaper to boot)
IMO of course,
MichaelMains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -

Yes, the 9's and PCU are a great combination and easy to setup. Will not be upgrading these in the near future. -
I personally liked the LSi15 better....maybe it was the way the 25s were set up but the bass was not as integrated....and the price diff. did not help. If HT was a a primary use and U dont like big SW box around (I don't), it would be a great option. I also have RTi100 which has a built in baby SW and I enjoy it very much.System 1: Martin Logan Vantage, Rotel RC 1070, B&K Reference 200.2, Music Hall DAC 15.2, Yamaha 2300
