well i went and did it again, i dumped the adcom 555 and stepped up and got a parasound 1200 II, i love it.. better bass, and alot cleaner top end IMO then the adcom... The rotel i had was just under this amp in sound quality... this parasound takes the cake in build quility and sound.. removable cord, heavy duty Rca's the works... I'm happy... Thanks go's to Early B for the amp and recent signal cables i picked up from him... here is a picture of the amp....

Parasound is good stuff, at any level. I'm running a little gruntball 1000a THX on the SRS 2's just for **** and grins right now, and it's doing everything it's supposed to.

Time to invest in a proper rack and / or amp stand cochise.

    Cheers,

Just give the Para room to breathe, they can get quite hot due to the Class A/AB operation. I had to give my HCA-1500 a full 8" of airspace above the top to get adequate cooling.

Its on its own makeshift stand now so it has plenty of air space.. this one gets warm but not hot, maybe because its not in a tight rack,
