I have limited space for speaker placement at the rear of my room. I'd like to know if the FX300i speakers will work for me? See attached photos..

First is left rear corner:

you can place them on either the rear wall. or the side wall near the rear if they will be used in a 5.1 set up as your surrounds.

the F/X300i is a nice little surround.. works like a champ. holds it's own in small to med sized rooms.

they should be place about 3 feet above your ears when you are seated.

Do you think that the side wall placement would be a little too close to the corner on the right side?

nope. i don't see any problem with that. it looks like you have about a foot there on the side wall next to the door.

with the "wedge" design of the 300i's.. tweeters aim forward and to the rear.. the sound will bounce off the rear wall and be pushed out to the center of the room. I have mine mounted on the side walls too.

    I appreciate the feedback db.

I'd like to place them on the side walls. If on the back wall.. the one placed on the right side will sort of be in the way.. as that is the passage way into the room behind the sofa. Someone might bump their head. :)

Looking at the online manual for the FX300i it shows the speakers away from the corners.

I'd like to get some other comments if possible...

Does anyone think that a pair of RM7500 on shelves, in the corners, angled at the listening position might be a better choice?
