I had an extra pr of 70's in the closet I pulled out to put in the set-up after redoing the HT. Last month (11-14-04) I took one of my pair of Rti-70's in for repair, 3 of the 4 drivers were bad so because I bought the extra warrenty I took them in and they gave me 2 claim numbers one for ea. speaker. I called a couple days ago and they refered me to their service center, when I called them they said that they were sent to the vender (electrosound) and they gave me thier number and I called them. I gave them my name and claim number CC gave me and they said that they had no info and didn't know anything about it I then called CC service back and after 10min on hold they replied that they were in done and in the store. I called the store and they said they had not recieved them and that they could be in transit and that they would watch for them and call when they came in. The next day they called and said that they came in. My wife and I went there that night and they came out with one speaker I looked at them and asked where the otherone was and gave them the claim tickets and they didn't know :mad: after 20min of looking the girl called the mgr. and he said he would look into it on monday because they would be closed for the weekend. If for some stupid reason they were lost or stolen (I read the monster post with referance to thieft at CC) what can be done short of getting my money back they said they would get me a new set but they don't sell them anymore? can they still get a pair from Polk under the sercumstance? or will I have to take the money (refund) and watch E-bay? :mad: Hopefully something good happens monday but I have a bad feeling.

    All I can give to this thread is the horror I had to go through with Electrosound up in Cleveland. I sent them the amp from an Infinity IL60 (500 watt BASH amp; very expensive) and it took them EIGHT months to fix it. They had to order parts four times in order to figure out what was wrong with it. Infinity wouldn't do anything for me. Not sure if that says anything but be prepared for the worst because Electrosound, in my opinion, SUCKS!
