NFL Week 17 (RAMS WIN!!)

Wow, the Rams made me sweat it out but they won and are going to the playoffs!

Of course for the afternoon games I would like to see the Seahawks lose (so Rams win the division and get home game) and also the Broncos lose (because it the Broncos hehe). Would loike to see the Jaggies make the AFC playoffs.

    of course the jets are in too, so they didnt even need that game....they had some pitty on those rams, good on them :)

    Yes!! Broncos are in it, at least for one more game. No predictions from me, I remember last years asswhipping only too well. Looks to be an exciting playoff season, lots of great games on tap.

    On a sad note, it appears as though I DID NOT win the Grand Master Blaster title for the polkcrew football pool. Yes there's still one game remaining but the three remaining players have all chosen the same team. Dragon1952, Demiurge, and myself were the only ones to stick with it, not sure why everyone else dropped out.....weenies! As of right now Lizard boy is winning with 134 total wins and 124 after dropping 2 weeks (worst weeks dropped by all players), I'm second fiddle with 132 total and 123, Demiurge is 3rd string with 124 and 117. Congrats to the three of us for sticking with it. I don't think we win anything except bragging rights untill next year.

    Since the regular season is over the cuts, trades, and retirements should start pretty darn soon. So whatchathink ladies and germs? Whose out as far as players and coaches are concerned? Do ya think Dick Vermin of the Chiefs will dazzle us all with a public display of crying in is near-beer...again? This guy needs to really retire! Seems Marty Snottenhiemer may have a job for a few more years in SD. Dallas may be lynching a few players and coaches. And let us all pause for a monent to reflect on the severly lackluster performance by the players, coaches, and owership that the worst stinkin' team in the league......the 49er's!! OMG!! :eek: 2 wins?!? Sad, to say the least, for a team that was a dynasty!

    Congrats guys! I forgot about a couple of the Saturday games after Thanksgiving so I didn't get my picks in. Poo Hoo....no sour grapes though....it wouldn't have made a difference. Glad you guys stuck it out. More fun that way.

    Yippee! Tennessee actually won!! At least I think they did. Does beating the Lions count as a win?

    The Colts pussed out and played their 4th string guys and got beat. I know thats smart business since they were guaranteed in the playoffs but it still looks pussyfied! Kind of like when QB's run and slide feet first rather than take the tackle. :rolleyes:
