This is a unit my neighbor owns. When I first saw it the poor little guy was THRASHED(DIRTY as HELL). He told me there was a lot of static and it sounded horrible. I plugged it in and indeed it sounded very staticky...
I figured what the hell and opened it and there was a TON of soot in this integrated so I began cleaning it. Got my silver deoxit rag and went ot work on the RCA nad thoroughly sprayed down the spring clip speaker terminals and used the little hose to get at the volume control.
After about a pound af SHHHTUFF was removed I pluged her back up. What a difference!!!! clean as can be with not a wisper of noise. For an old integrated receiver I am really impressed.
Does anybody have any specs or value of this unit. He does not want to sell it but at least knowing what he has would be cool.
Thanks in advance and oh my HEAD is still pounding;)

Thanks Mc but that is not it and I'm not surprised. I can't find jack squat on this unit. I would at least like to know the power ratings of the amp section but I do know it drives the RTA8T's and Monitor 5's with no problem.
This is all I have been able to find.

Try going to this site. The 820 is not listed anywhere but the 830/850 owner manual can be downloaded. Don't lose the remote control cause they are proud of them and charge accordingly. http://www.onkyousa.com/download/own_manuals.cfm?cat=Receiver>
