Why do they allow old shows to be butchered??

As most know, I am a die-hard Transformers fan (to an extent) - and I use to watch as much of the 80's cartoons as I could, but I mostly grew up watching Beast Wars and Beast Machines, which IMO - was a pretty good follow up to the original Transformers....
I really don't watch the new series, but today I decided I would give it a watch since I was up...
And man, this is the worst show I've ever seen. Its all cheap CGI characters, with terrible voices. Some of the biggest robots have squeaky voices, I mean - wth right...
OH WELL, I guess if people have never seen the older series, this series is good? ha, I dunno

Transformers rule! Gobots suck.
Beast Wars, were they the fire, water, wood, thingys? -
Beast Wars was basically...
Like they were returning to earth, and they surveyed the area for life forms and changed their robotics to match the surrounding animals cosmetically...
Same basic plot, Megatron vs. Optimus - but this time they were trying to figure out secrets of the planet, etc etc....
Then we had Beast Machines when they returned to Cybertron and well, Megatron goes balistic...
Basically Transformers in animal form...
However in Beast Machines they re-introduced regular machines...
Oh yeah! In beast wars they had one episode where they showed the old robots of Optimus Prime and Megatron in some killer CGI - that was flat out awesome. I bet there is a screenshot somewhere on the net...
Now its like TF Energon, and its ****... hahaha- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
