Think this would be an upgrade?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has heard Swan speakers? I know alot of people like them at HT Forum, I would post over there but its not letting me for some reason. Anyways I have rt55i mains & a cs400i center, they arent bad by any means but I have the upgrade/change bug & want to try something different. I figure I could sell my current setup & pretty much pay for what I want. http://www.theaudioinsider.com/cgi-bin/theaudioinsider/SW2.1.html and http://www.theaudioinsider.com/cgi-bin/theaudioinsider/SWC3BC.html. Both in black cherry. I think they definately look better than the polks but that all takes a back seat to the sound. Also I only use my system for movies.

According to the reviews and the specs, the Swans are nice speakers, although I haven't heard them. I wanted to get the Swans a few weeks ago, but it was vetoed by the WAF because the color didn't match our decor. However, I would suggest that you keep what you have if you're looking at the Swan bookshelf speakers for HT. An upgrade for your fronts might be the Swan floor standers. Consider Ascend Acoustics if you want better sound and the same style of speakers that you currently have.
