What dish is needed with the dish network 921 receiver. Will the dish 500 pointing at the 110 and 119 sattelite work or is there another satelite it needs to point at. I currently have a system that is ready to re activate and was thinking of taking advantage of the deals on this receiver. Any help would appreciated.if i need a new dish where is the best online place to order from.

A Dish 500 dish, a Quad LNB, and a second coax (rg-6) and your good to go. I've had mine for 1 year 4 days and I love it. HD recording is fantastic. Never having to watch another commercial....PRICELESS!!!!

Hopefully this is self explanatory. -
Frank ,Thanks i understand exactly what you meant. That helps a lot. My dish receiver model 521 pvr receives both the 110 and the 119 sat through one coax cable. Is it possiable that my lnb is capable of combining both satelites twice, will i need to hit the 105 sat to get local channels in hdtv.
thanks again

No it won't work. You're going to have to use a Quad LNB. I paid about $150 for mine.
Neither Dishnetwork or DirecTv offer HD locals, they are standard def. only. You might want to call Dish and ask them which bird your local stations are on. My locals were moved from the original satellite to 110/119 and I no longer need a 2nd dish. You might be in the same situtation. -
Thanks frank
