There is an article in this month's Stereophile with an interview with Edgar Villchur and Roy Allison. Personally, the interviews aren't near long enough but they are still interesting. It's worth picking up a copy to hear from a pair of audio legends.

Its interesting how Vilcher does not buy the mystical, voo doo hocus pocus of cable marketing. He seems like a very pragmatic man.

    Bump

have you followed the doppler shift theory by chance? a Cancellation between the mic and speaker... what will be next?

looks like a new marketing gimmick to me:D

Villchur had no real interest in audio. The deep bass out of a small box thing was just a problem that needed to be solved. Once he sold the company to Teledyne he never did anything in home audio again.

    Kloss was another story.

That's what I find so interesting about Villchur....the guy has basically zero interest in audio, per se and he starts a company that is, arguably, the most historically significant audio company ever.

The town of Woodstock is pretty far from the actual old festival site, but it has been a town of artists and creative thinkers forever. Cool guy.
