Indeed it does. I am going to post some actual pictures tomorrow. :) I am still working on a lot of upgrades but they sound so good. Now what to do with my Polk RT2000P?

Actually, I have a question. What would the best way to get Digital out from my PC?

    Regards

Well I have CD's but sometimes I don't want to deal with switching CD's and what not so I use MCE.

The digital is hooked up from my PC. Used a 1/8" to RCA mono plug to get the digital there. Sounds very close to CD quality. Just not as much spaciousness.

Just be careful you don't have a nasty burp of the computer system with the amplifier turned up too far. :)

What kind of sound card are you using? Creative Laps Audigy line should have a digital out or there is also M-Audio's pro line which has both digital coax and optical out.

Well, the soundblaster live (which I have) 24 bit does 24/96 from an 1/8" output. I convert it over to RCA with an adapter and it sounds like CD quality, or so I think. :p

I would advise you to invest in a good sound-card to compliment your new slew of purchases. The E-Mu 1212M ($200) or the model 99 ($100) are FANTASTIC cards that stomp the sin outta Sound-blaster / M-Audio / economy cards. You will have the choice of running analog out (via: 1/4th plug to rca), digital, or fiber optic. For a lot more money, you can step into the ranks with RME and LYNX.

I would then run and get EAC, a very fine ripping program to burn cd's with.

After thats done, go get FooBar2000, a wonderful audio program that is your one stop stereo processor/EQ.

This will put you where CD players SHOULD.....

Congrats on the great speakers - get the good source going and you will see what they are *really* capable of.

    Cheers,

Thanks a lot Sean. There is a lot on the list as far as upgrades. First I can get a Lexicon MC-1 and McIntosh 7205 for 1,300. I am working on the deal right now. I am also looking at an B+W HTM1 for around 400 dollars. That will tap me out for a month or so, then I can eye the audio card you just mentioned. Do you really think there could be a significant difference between my current card and the cards you mentioned?
