The Hosers do it again - PSB Century 800i
Picked these up this week, PSB Century 800i's from fellow Polkie 'mesquitehead'.
From the PSB website:
->With two 8-inch woofers that employ new voice coil materials and higher-temperature adhesives for increased power handling, the 800i supplies the impressive bottom end at high listening levels you might expect, with a low-frequency cut-off point of 30 Hz and the ability to stir a lot of air in motion at all-out symphonic or rock levels in big listening rooms. It uses the same new 1-inch textile dome tweeter as the 600i , and has the same well-dispersed top-end response. You would be hard-pressed to make this speaker sound at all stressed.<-
Pretty good sounding speaker so far, lots of good, deep bass - but still maintains an outstanding transition from mid to tweeter. Front ported, bi wire/amp capable. The inverted surrounds on the woofs are a nice touch, almost 'throwback' if you will.
Cheers,
Russ

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

More speakers?
Hmm, I guess you gotta replace the RT8 with something! hehe! Those look great, never owned an OEM speaker with 8" woofers, would be nice!
