You definately going to need to look into the following:
    Verge
    ESA
    Jensen

go to circuit city they'll get you ballin really fast for real cheap. Just tell them you want the Verge amps, ESA subs, and a jensen headunit.

    peace out!

ok, "NizATE". Adam is a nut sometimes, so...

Anyway, what do you have now, and what are you looking for? Do you have an aftermarket CD player, or is everything stock? Are you looking to just add some bump to your system, or do you want amazing sound quality? What is your budget.
    Bare minimum, you'll need:

    1. Sub
    2. Enclosure
    3. Amp
    4. Wiring kit

For a great 12" sub with good kick and good sound quality, at a really great price check http://www.s-fs.com and look for the Adire Shiva.
Then you can check somewhere like www.thezeb.com and find a Profile amp. Look for something with two channels that bridges to around 600 watts.
You can save a lot of money if you're willing to build the enclosure yourself. You'll want around 1.5 cubic feet for a sealed box, or 2 or more if you want to go ported. Depending on what you're looking for, you'll go one or the other. Sealed will be easier to make for a first-timer, ported will be slightly louder and is trickier to make sound right.
For an 8 guage wiring kit, look no further than www.knukonceptz.com or you can get a scosche wiring kit from Wal-Mart. I recommend knukonceptz for their higher quality stuff, plus it comes with RCA interconnects and the remote wire.
Overall, you're looking at around maybe $300.

Is Jensen a good brand I thought their headunits were cheap and didn't have a lot of features?
