Connecting speaker wires

I have two lengths of speaker wire that I would like connect to each other. I don't want to solder them (don't have the equipment), nor do I want to twist them together and bind it with electrical tape. Is there a better way to do this?

    Other than shrink tubing (which is probably ideal), there aren't many other alternatives.

    Twist them together and put a "wire nut" on.

    Put your head in between the ends, even cheaper.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Solder would be best and I know you don't have a solder iron.

    So doesn't "Rat Shack" sell some "Solder Tape" that can be wrapped and melted with a match? At least I think I seen something like that before.

    Found what I was talking about, these soldering tape idea.

    So with these tape thing, and some Heat shrink tubing you're all set.

    I didn't say I ever used that stuff, but I do think it's a little better then wire nuts. ;)
