I hooked a friend's PS2 to my rig, all you need is that toslink fiber cable you got him and their composite and Audio RCA L/R converter thingie that comes with it to plug in the video. Just leave out the RCA audio, the optical will still work.

Thanks I don't have one so I had no clue what vidoe cables were used.

depends on his TV but you can buy S-video and Component video cables for the PS2. Otherwise, you just use the Composite video cable that came with it and it's all good. Just use Toslink for the digital audio and be gravy.Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

PS2 works fine as a dvd player. Just make sure you use the optical out. The d/a audio converters in the PS2 are really bad.

there's a special adapter that uses S-video out for PS2. You'd need to pick one up.
Target has some fairly nice priced PS2 cables with s-video... I think it was around $10. Another option would be ebay.Brian Knauss
