Rear speaker height
I will be mounting rear speakers over the break and was wondering what height would be appropriate.
The room is 15 x 13 x 8. The side surrounds (LSiFX) are mounted 5.5 feet measured from the floor to the bottom of the speakers. The listening position is 3.5 feet from the rear wall.
Should the rear speakers be the same height as the surrounds or at a different height. What height would work best for multi-channel music and movies?

Dolby recommends all surround speakers at the same height, 2-3' above the listeners ear when seated. Mine are closer to 3' but that's as low as I can go.

Will mount at the same height.

You should mount on the wall at the same height (If that was what you were asking...)
