Im going to go ahead and get the Kicker comp VR. My last question is if I get a box to go behind my seat (single cab pick up), and it so tight that there isnt much room for the sub to breath. Could that be a problem, or will the sub be fine pushed up against my seat like that? thanks again!
When in dout gas it

Personally, Id go with the Polk. They will get plenty loud but theyll sound much smoother. They are one of the smoothest sounding subs this side of Image Dynamics. You should give em a listen.

Its not a good idea to mount your sub smack up against your seat. If the depth is a problem then check into a 10.

You could get the MM2104DVC which will handle 600 RMS (300 RMS per coil) . It would have less of a depth problem and 600 watts from a single 10 in a single cab pickup will pound pretty hard.
