I saw a very nice looking and in great condition.. Fisher integrated amp for sale locally. i can't seem to find out anything about it. i think the model was number CA800 or CA810 it had a beatiful black face. that was quite clean. the appearance looked very similar to a Sansui tuner from the 70's. shiny black metal.
anyone know anything about this Fisher integrated amp? or Fisher in general.. worth the time? I would say it's from the 70's. with black knobs and meters.
thx

I had a 800, or 880 or some such. Great tone, and good power too. Cool V/U meters, really solid build. Probably one of Fishers best solid state efforts if I recall correctly.
Anyway, I traded it to Troy for some gruntball gear, perhaps he has some comments. I think it's still in service in one of his many rigs.

thanks Russ.
I was suprised at it's weight.. prob 20 #'s or so. it caught my eye right away.. i wasnt' expecting it to be a Fisher at all. Hoping it was instead a Sansui... looked so much like one.
I may treat myself to it.. and see how it plays out.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
