I have always been a fan and as luck had it some friends of ours opened their show here (Del Castillo) and the Theater director is a good friend so we got to meet them. They were very kind and signed a poster for my uncle Roky (Erickson) and said they were big fans of his. The best part of all was seeing our friends fufill their dream of opening for Los Lobos in front of a local crowd in an historic and beautiful old theater, they kicked **** and got a standing ovation. What a great night....

    Wow. how cool is that?

I've always been more impressed when I meet a musician that i am when i meet say... a actor or actress. musicians are usually more down to earth than others in the entertainment industry.

    nice pic too.

I would be the gringo on the right....lol . Yeah mark and rick can play a mean guitar as well, they are pretty tight with robert rodriguez and may be doing some stuff on his new sharkboy flick. I must say that steve berlin and louie perez were very cool and down to earth guys....steve is a legendary producer in his own right (sheyrl crow).

Los Lobos is a great band. Rosas and Hidalgo are a powerful combination.
