Any comments on the placement? They are about 3 1/4" off the wall. 3' above the listeners ears. I know it isn't the ideal setup but the room isn't that big so I had to make compromises. Any alternative ideas are welcome.

I really like the dedicated room. Looks nice, is it complete or do you have more stuff to add? (tough to tell with pics of the upper ceiling.
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

There is still a lot to do but it's mostly just improvements and finishing up. I need to pull the speaker and subwoofer wires through the roof and finish up the closet for all the equipment. Just picked some wood so I can build a rack with my dad. I am going to replace the chairs with a modular HT setup from Palliser, two corner chairs, one middle chair (without handrests) and one cupholder module). It will fit in the room and provide three reclining seats.

H/K AVR7200 is driving the 7's with Denon DVD-1600 providing the source for Selece SVP-350 projector. I was close in scoring on 9" Sony CRT with low hours but seems like that won't happen. SVS PC Ultra is the subwoofer. Since I'm only using 5.1 I am going to route the extra channels to H/K PA2000 and from there Samson S1000. 2000 will drive a pair of Polk Atrium55's out by the pool and a pair of Yamaha bookshelves in the second living room. Samson will drive a pair of RTi150's in the main living room. I need to add RF remote so I can control it from anywhere the house. This will free up my stereo receiver (HK3375) to bedroom. Still need a pair of speakers there, most likely I will try some small Athens (if I can't find cheap LSi7's anywhere :)).

    Some more pictures...

HT rack was built yesterday, need to colour it later on. I'll probably remove that Sony DVD magazine and replace it with HTPC.

It's very nice but I had to move the receiver outside on the top, it kept shutting down. I need to drill holes on the side to see if that helps, otherwise I will have to keep it on the top.

Got new seats in. Now I am getting ready for the holidays and some great movies. The closet now has one layer of paint, needs another and then it will all be one dark room waiting for the finishing touch.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention we got the GT-R running like a champ on Saturday. Needed a new air flow meter, the old one was messing up fuel delivery. Still need to get some dyno time to sort out all the fuel maps but it's a lot better now. 5 weeks vacation on top of everything (that's why I'm getting things done now), going back to work Jan.17, my mom and little sister coming tomorrow from Finland (my dad is already here)...I'm having one heck of a Christmas. :D
