Troy, at least you're consistent. :o

Ron, I'll probably get serious about a widescreen once I'm out of college and have a job (which should be soon!). I'm trying to talk my parents into one now, though.

Regarding the slate, I'm not all that convinced it does a whole lot with my RT800's. Maybe a little. I think it's more trouble than it's worth, because my RT800's barely fit on them and don't stand very straight either. I think if I could get a properly sized piece that was a good 1.5" thick then it might work. Still, I doubt the speakers would sit as well as they do with the spikes.

A couple of weeks ago, I was helping a buddy set up his HT rig.....and he had some bose cubes that for geographical/logistical considerations were about the only thing on had that would fit the bill.....Well, we got them wired up and for rear effects, I would say that they aren't that bad. Not great, mind you but they could be worse......

The reason I got them originally was for computer speakers for my desk. My RT55's wouldn't fit on my desk too well....

Speaking of which, I wanted to post pictures from my dorm/apartment last year. Those pictures are classic. I'll get those to Justin.

......NASA tiles that look an awful like stained egg crate mattress covers. Just what we want to see.

Yeah, what Troy said. If you look up the page a bit you'll see why I bought them originally.
