What do you guys recommend as a quality sub cable? I have a Sunfire Super Junior and should have the Sunfire Ultimate Receiver come Feb-ish. Needs to be 6ft/2meters and preferably under $100 or as close to that as possible. Used = *thumbsup*

As for the other interconnects, I probably will mix and match some. I found a guy locally who has 3 sets of AQ Copperhead Analog Audio cables (1M) and will let me have 'em for $100. The seem to go for $50/ea typically so I figured this was a decent deal. It'll be good for my DVD-audio.

but I wanted to know who has experience with what cables and what they compared them to. I only have experience with Monster "I'LL SUE YOU!" Cable. I'm definitely boycotting them, even though I get a discount, and will be going elsewhere. Just looking for recommendations and what-not. Guess I'll read other threads...

    Toxis,

I'm in the process of replacing my Monster cables with Ethereal cables that are well made and cost much less than Monster.

Don't roll your eyes at me, read the f*cking thread. As I said, there are plenty of good suggestions here. You have to understand this to, what works for one set up may not work for another. There isn't a one fits all cable or answer. The suggestions people have made are from their experiences and are the cables that worked best for them.

    Touchy...

Anyhow I was simply asking who you recommended as a sub cable, seeing no cables were recommended for this application, I thought I'd throw my situation out there to see if anyone had a suggestion. No one did. I've read the suggestions and have started doing my own reading on here and other forums to see if anyone has opinions/reviews on sub cables. Looks to be an ignored area. Oh well... no shame in asking.

    Toxis,

Please try to focus on the right term for what you are inquiring about. A sub cable is not the same thing as interconnect cables or speaker cables. You can see how it gets confusing if the right term isn't used, eh? :)

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
