Opinion - Best Connection: F to RCA or RCA to RCA

I ran rg-6 to accomodate audio signals for several 100' plus runs between audio components. I will use wall plates to finish off the cables. However, I am curious as to whether anyone believes I should use an RCA connector on the RG-6 cable (and an RCA to RCA feed-through on the wall plate) or F connect on the RG-6 cable (along with an F to RCA feed-through adapter on the wall plate). Does that answer change where component video is being transmitted over RG-6?
Due to the way that the RG-6 lines were terminated, use of the feed-through is not optional.

I'll thinking about the same thing, long RCA runs using RG-6.
My take on this would keep it RCA all the way. Why not it's just audio right so why change back and forth.
And BTW Welcome

I guess the first question is what connector works best on RG-6. My initial thought would be F-connectors (because that is what the connector is designed to do), but I don't know. The second question would be which adapter (the F female to RCA female or RCA female to RCA female) will degrade the signal less.
I may just try both and see if there is any cognizable difference.
But, I would still love to hear from anyone who has experience with this. -
Are you going to connect the RCA jacks with solder? If yes I say go direct to RCA from the RG-6 cable. RG-6 cable is designed for the F connectors thats true, but if soldered then anything could be connected.
Question, just how long is this cable run?

I have not decided on the solder. Strangely enough, I have read posts that say soldering is good and posts that say soldering is bad. Tough to know what to believe.
Anyway, the longest run I am dealing with is approximately 150' and then I have some that are 75' and 50' or so.
An additional issue I have with terminating the RG-6 with RCA jacks is that the space in the outlet boxes will get really tight with the bigger RCA connectors. Of course, if I could determine that one method is better than the other, I would make the effort. -

Well I think you know where I stand on this soldering thing. Solder Solder Solder. I never done this myself with RG-6 but plan to do just that in the future, and I can't see any problem with the room for RCA jack wall plate.
