Anyone have the new RTi 70's yet ?

Hello everyone,
Thanks for all the responses to my last post about the RT55i's.
I was wondering if anyone has a new set of the RTi70's tower speakers. They seem to be really close to the RT55i's, but with a nice base underneath. I'm curious as to how these new one's compare to the RT55i's. I just purchased a set of the RTi28's and they really sound good. My RT55i's are sounding great now for others that remembered the last post.

RTi70's replace the Rt800i's...there is no replacement for the 55i's as of yet..and polk has said no plans too... I would think the mids would be exactly same..just a tad different in upper mids/highs due to new tweeter..
I know the new stuff is not out in my area yet..and from past record..probably wont be for a year..:( -
care to share what stores in your area are already selling the new line?
hopefully they'll be out sooner than later here in atlanta!

Circuit City told me the other day that they should have the new line within a few months or sooner. I got my RTi28's directly from Polk on a warranty replacement.

I'm glad i got my 800i's at CC, with their upgrade policy, I can switch to the 70i's

Just throwing in my 2 cents here:
I don't really like the new design, plus I am VERY short on cash so I guess I will have to stick with my current system. When do you think authorized dealers will get the new models, just to hear : )? -
What is the Circuit City Upgrade policy ??

You have one year to return the product for full store credit for new speakers. It is called their Speaker Return Guarrantee (? I THINK ?).
I tried returning Polk speakers that were bought somewhere else for the program but they were one step ahead of me and asked for my receipt. I said, I didn't have one, and they said that is alright we will look it up in the computer. I said crap and ran away. Anyway I got the same deal at the place I bought it at and returned it to get a better speaker. -

Not exactly deal city over there, though; it is, however, nice that they are carrying the products.
