Well a lot of you gave me advise on my next purchase in my 2 channel system,if ya remember I was thinking of a second amp to monoblock,or maybe changing my source a good universal player maybe with sacd. The majority ruled a good dedicated cd player,so after opinoins and many reviews of a few brands,I started looking for a cambridge audio, with rotel being my back up plan.Well didnt end up with either, found what I thought was a good deal on a music hall mmf cd25...$350,11/2 years old unmodified. Many thanx guys, this is the GLUE the system was needing! When I took the amp off my receiver and hooked it to a carver preamp...good upgrade, sent the preamp for a common upgrade in the two channel mode...better upgrade, music hall player...best upgrade so far.I liked my RTi8's,but was thinking of moving into LSi9's,now I think I may just keep them (for a while anyway) the new player really has done justice to speakers, tweeters are not so bright, and it really seperates the instruments and the vocals, just adds a higher level to the whole system!Gonna be satisfied for now,but in the very near future, going for a couple of common mods,I hear your cheating yourself out if ya dont have them done.Once again, thanx for all the input.
