    Oh no.....I can just see my wifes face now with a bank of Marshalls across the back of my HT!
    But seriously, I'm not an electronics whiz but I think an amplifier is looking for an input signal within a specific voltage range, i.e. 1.5mV or whatever, so I guess it depends on the amps input sensitivity (if that's what it's called) and the preamps output voltage? :confused:

    Many of todays modern guitar amplifiers (Marshall is just one) actually have audio inputs for connection of source devices such
    as a CDP for practicing/performing.

    Actually, I think he meant something more like this:

    PA amplifiers. I think they should work just fine, but you should double check voltage ratings for both your preamp and these power amps and try to match 'em up.
