rti100 series with rti70 for the front?

Hello POLKS,
I have a pair of this for the 8.1 future set up but for right now I was thinking running this in series with my Rti70 for the FRONT Channels. Is that I good idea or :(....?

    get an amp and use it to power the rti100's. then just decide what channel u want them hooked up to. don't run them in series or parallel

    actually why not, just don't use the subwoofer section, treat is like an RTi38 which they're identical, it would be a perfect match with your rear surrounds, 3 RTi38s.. ;)
