Aerosmith O'YEAH! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits

I got this album (2 disc set) about a year and a half ago because it's a pretty comprehensive collection of Aerosmith hits and it has this cool changing cover deal!
Anyway, never really listened to it until recently and I'm freaking stunned! This is an incredible recording! It's crystal and I mean CRYSTAL clear! Some tracks are over-boosted on the low-end slightly but I'm betting it's due to the master tracks being over-produced like alot of popular music from the 70's is. Kinda like now.
I was listening to "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion" on the SDA rig last night and the realism was surreal! It sounded like Steven Tyler was screaming "Dream On!" right in my face and Joe Perry's guitar work on "Sweet Emotion" was glowing and vibrant! I could almost hear his fingers plucking the strings! It sounded like I was right in the studio with them!
If you are an Aerosmith fan....ah hell, even if you aren't, go pick this 2 disc set up! I have never heard a rock band with this kind of quality recording before. It's clean, it's clear and it's awesome! Proabably the BEST Aerosmith album out there. Besides all that it really brings back memories of mis-spent youth driving around in fast cars and raising hell with my friends.

Thanks......A LOT! Now I have go spend money again! Maybe I can make it a stocking stuffer for my wife and just play dumb.....hmmm.

LOL! I like those kind of gifts - Actually, the HT system was a present from/to my wife & I, but I think I actually get a LOT more enjoyment from it. We both like movies, but I love to listen to music more than she does.....A stocking stuffer.....
