As title says, I have $100 to spend on a new DVD player. Doesn't sound like much but it seems there are a lot of players out there for this. Which is your favorite and why?

It's now discounted to below $100.00, the Sony DVP-NS725P is a really good DVD player. Basically, a progressive scan DVD player that delivers an excellent picture and according to audioasylum.com, excellent sound quality as a CD player.

found it for about $87 shipped. Anyone else with ideas. I liked the idea of the panasonic with that farahuda (sp?) processor. Anyone with used equipment looking to unload?

You may be able to snag the Denon 910 for around $100. If you can, it's the best player for that price, hands down...

Toshiba 3960 at $69 is at the #1 spot on my list. Sounds good out of the box, can be upgraded to sound better than they have a right to.

I know we were selling them for 59 just this last weekend. The deals are out there, just gotta look! I'm sure somewhere you can get a denon 910 for under a hundred... and that'd by far be my choice.
