Sony scd c222es?

Can anybody tell me anything good or bad about this player,mainly how does redbook cd's sound in it?

    Good, but not as good as the 555ES. I would be on the prowl for one of those instead.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    F1 has owned the 777ES, single tray, and it was stellar. The higher you get in the ES line, the better the guts.

    Both of those pieces have very high reviews, and are standards in the bracket.
