He what can anyone tell me about the rta 12? I can't seem to find anything about them on the polk website. There is a local ebay auction running, local pickup only on a pair that I was thinking about picking up.

Thanks,

Woody

I thought those were Monitor 12's? I've heard of RTA 11's and RTA 15's....

Those are indeed RTA12 (not sure if they're the 12, 12B, or 12C). They predate the Monitors I believe. I have a pair of 12Cs, but I much prefer the sound of Monitors.

That's still a pretty cheap auction though. Assuming they're fully functional, I would think they're a good pickup under $200.

Thanks for input guys, naturally I got busy at work and forgot to bid on them. Wound up ending at $157, a good price with local pickup up if they are in as good a shape as described. Oh well.
