speaker spikes

will adding spikes to speaker stands improve sound considering that they are on ceramic tiles and not carpet? Thanks for any advise.

    Not IMO. I would load the stands with lead shot if possible. Kitty litter is a cheap option.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
